My Fav Cyclical Ritual: Cycle Card Reading

Hello!

Rituals are powerful ways to embody and honor your cyclical self. Today, I am sharing with you one of my favorite rituals I practice most cycles. Enjoy!

Understanding Cyclical Rituals Our bodies run on cycles and understanding these cycles can provide a deep sense of self-awareness and empowerment. One of the ways to connect with your cyclical self is through a ritual. A ritual is a sequence of activities involving gestures, words, and objects, performed in a sequestered place, and performed according to a set sequence. One of the key elements of a ritual is consistency, repeating the same actions and words each time. This consistency can provide a sense of comfort and predictability, creating a safe space to explore and understand your cyclical self.

Instructions for your Cycle Card Reading Ritual The Cycle Card Reading Ritual is a simple and powerful way to connect with your cyclical self. Here is how you can perform the ritual. Start by picking your favorite Tarot deck or Oracle cards. Hold the deck in your hands, and think about the phase of your cycle the card’s message is for. For example, you could bring your thoughts to your menstrual phase. Gently shuffle the deck. If a card pops out while shuffling, that’s your card! If not, intuitively pull one card out. Write the card name on the Cyclical Card Reading sheet, in the phase you’ve pulled for. Repeat this process for each cycle phase. Read the full message for the cycle you are currently in and write any words or themes that resonate with you. Come back to this ritual as you begin each phase of your cycle. Engaging in a Cycle Card Reading Ritual is a fun way to honor the seasons and phases of your cycle. Though the cards, you can gain insights, direction, or simply receive words of encouragement. Remember, this is a fun practice! If pulling a card for every phase feels like a lot, try pulling 1 card for that cycle; this is your journey, make it work for you!
